FGNYFW Bridal week in New York is always a special time. The entry into spring, cherry blossoms blooming, and of course love & couples wedding in the air. So that brings us to the runway. and Fashion Gallery did not disappoint. They displayed four different emerging designers.
OONA Nicole, Irina Shabayeva, Valdrin Sahiti, & D. Auxlly. These four talented and creative designers put their heart and soul into creating their collections and you can see the love & care that they have for not only fashion but for the love of the craft. In one instance a designer was even brought to tears of joy, about having her collection being photographed and shown on the runway.
OONA Nicole - style and business like design is perfect for almost any situation even in pure white some of her pieces are perfect for that all white party, boardroom or brunch. The different types of cuts and styles within her collection displayed strong ruffled shoulders, head to toe reptilian print, mixed fabric skirts and color blocked lapels.
Irina Shabayeva - is a Designer with a creative talent that has pushed her to the forefront of the Fashion Industry. Partly because of her win on the International show Project Runway, but also because of her resourcefulness and creativity to use whatever materials she has access, to create an elegant and beautiful piece. This Bridal FW'20 season, Irina runway show during BFW was impeccable. The beautiful and elegant flowing dresses, colorful sequin gowns, with a mixture of French laced pieces. Each time one piece left the runway, the next piece that came out had you hold your breath. Since winning Project Runway she has worked with many organizations with helping woman and giving them skills to build a career within the fashion industry. D. Auxlly - Collection in my opinion was flawless and kept to the meaning of what Bridal fashion week means. Each piece is a true one of one. The fabrics, texture and design of each piece stands out from the rest. Each piece that walked down the runway caused your eyes to bulge out of your sockets, your jaw to drop and as a photographer had me press the shutter just one more time to make sure I didn't miss a shot. The time, detail, & craftsmanship was on full display and couldn't be challenged or met on this evening. D. Auxlly was an amazing show. I believe she will be a force to reckon with, in the fashion industry. Her collection is perfect for the bride who not only wants to be Sophisticated and gorgeous; but also wants to completely stand out above the rest. Hand beaded lace, ostrich feathers, tulle draping, sequin outfits, or a tuxedo styled double breasted dress with pleated tulle ruffles, was a unique combination on one of her pieces that worked.
Each piece could cause the whole bridal party to ask the bride. Where did you purchase your wedding dress? When I get married I have to purchase from the same designer. Check out the amazing designer collection on her website http://dauxilly.com/
Valdrin Sahiti - He has a vision on the various pieces for his collection of what gowns should be and how they will be displayed on a woman body. His pieces could be for weddings, proms, banquets, business dinners, or just to be a statement piece. Check out more of his amazing pieces on his website. https://valdrinsahiti.com/
