Jay-Z: In My Life Time.... I'm not a Businessman, I'm a Business, Man! - Billionaire Status.

This Article, will explain to you in my opinion, of why Jay - Z has become a Billionaire. I will be using his own words from various songs that he has written, To describe some of his principals & rules on living life in a certain way to attain what you want in life. The principals he follows are ingrained mentally & physically, not only to his RocNation Family but also to whoever started with him during the Roc-A-Fella days, in the beginning. Through the music, he has always been honest on where he has felt he could take the rap game and the Hip Hop Culture. Who would've thought this Brooklyn born emcee would've taken it this far? He did!

I know as a fan, I have been right there with him. From me purchasing his Album on Tapes, CD, to Digital downloads and now streams. His Book (Decoded), VHS (Streets is Watching), Concert tix (Hard Knock Life), His opening concert at The Barclay Center in Brooklyn, too subscribing to his digital platform Tidal. He has, among others, inspired me to at one time create my own record label, Hot One Records. To having my own home music studio, to creating one of the first digital music platforms for independent artist, YSYM. and creating other multiple small business / ideas that either have been successful or have failed. It has. For me. All been inspired business wise, by this man and his Roc-A-fella family (including Biggs Burke & Dame Dash). You don't have to go far to find where he tells you his plan. He has been dropping jewels from the very beginning, you just had to listen.

Can I live, cause we feel we have nothing to lose, we offer our lives. What do you bring to the table? In my life time, I want presidents to represent me and my conglomerate, shall remain Anonymous caught up in the finer shit. Living out my dreams until my heart give out. My life ain’t rosy but I roll wit it. My mind was fine till the dough hit and told me that the Moe did it. I blow a digit on a diamond in a minute but no bitches. My shit is butter for the bread they want to toast me. I keep my head, both of them where they suppose to be. Hoes will get you side tracked and clapped by close feet. I don’t sleep. I know this game got valley’s & peaks expectations for dips. For perception we stack chips, hardly. The youth I use to be, soon to see a million. No more big willie, my game has grown, I prefer you call me William. I dabbled in crazy weight, without rap I was crazy straight. Partner, I’m still spending money from ’88.

Whoever said illegal was the easy way out couldn’t understand the mechanic’s & workings of the underworld grant it, 9-5 is how you survive, I ain’t trying to survive, I trying to live it, to the limit and love it a lot. I break bread with the late heads picking their brains for angles and all the evils that the game will do. It gets dangerous money and power is changing us. But in my life time, I need to see a whole lot of dough. While brothers are shooting stupid I’am carefully plotting. I tell’em stop flashing and start stashing and we all will get off the corner. Forget that weed that shit keeps you broke, invest in pounds of herb and profit, if brothers want to smoke. Keep your heart cause this is a man’s game and we will all pop champagne till it’s a damn shame.

I keep it realer than most, I know you feeling it. For now tranactions are llegitimate. Cause life is still a bitch and then you die. But for now. life, close your eyes and feel this dick. Making sure every dude stay rich within my cipher. We paid the price for the circle of success. If every dude in your click is rich, your click is rugged. Nobody will fall cause everyone will be each other crunches. I hope you fools choose to listen I drop jewels. These are the rules I follow in my life “you got to love it”. If y’all not talking about large money what the point?

Friend or Foe? State your biz. I see his hunger pains, I know his blood boils. He wanna, run with me, I know this kid will be loyal. I watched him make a few ends to cop his little sneakers and gear then it’s just enough to re-up again. I see myself in his eyes, I moved from Levi’s, to Guess, to Versace, now it’s diamonds like Liberace. That just the natural cycle. We trying to make hard white into cold green, I can help shorty blow out like afro sheen, that little dude peeps it’s time to put him on.

I never change, this is Jay everyday. Let no amount of money ruin this thing of ours. We all fish, better teach you folk. Give him money to eat, the next week he broke. Word on the street you reap what you sow. Not out of fear, but love. Love for the game. Roc family, first we never change, man. It’s all about my paper 24/7, 365 or 366 in a leap year. I just hope I’m living right. Karma got me feeling like, are you praying for me. When I’m no longer here, to shade her face from the glare, I’ll give her my piece of Carol Daughter and tell her its her beach chair.

Just let me be great! Some of us made it, most of us digress. In the name of those that ain’t made it, my progress. Show success, please live through me. See i’m the eyes for Emory, keep him alive! International Hov, I told you so. 40/40's out in Tokyo, Singapore, all this from singing songs coming up we thought slinging Raw. Was the end all, be all, of being rich didn’t we? Little did I know, my more potent delivery. Would deliver me, Kingpin of the ink pen, monster of the double entendre. Coke is still my sponsor. Cola. yea, Hova still gettin it in with soda.

Don't follow me, Follow my moves. I'm not a role model. My bad influence got the world drinking gold bottles. I Can’t chill, but my neck will. Haters really gonna be mad at my next deal. I don’t know why they worried about my pockets. Meanwhile had Oprah chillin in the projects. Had her out in Bed-stuy, chillin on the steps drinking quarter waters, I gotta be the best. MJ at summer jam, Obama on the text. Y’all should be afraid of what I’m going to do next. On to the next one.
