Manhattan Concours at BFPL 2019 -
Updated: Oct 1, 2019
Manhattan Concours was presented by Brookfield Place in partnership with Cakebread Cellars, Chopard, Lincoln, The Frederick Hotel, and Super Coffee.
The scene was a familiar one for automotive enthusiasts. Pristine examples of motoring legends sat side by side beneath a crisp blue sky. On display was a history of prestige, bespoke craftsmanship, and raw power in its rarest form. And it all took place more than 3,000 miles from Pebble Beach. For the first time New York City would play host to a showcase of priceless, limited edition automobiles. The 2019 Manhattan Concours at Brookfield Place was a smashing success for all involved. Over the course of two days visitors to the event were given the opportunity to view a selection of extremely rare automobiles. Present for the Concours were automotive representations from the likes of Porsche, Ferrari, B.M.W., and Pagani.
Topping off the event were awards given for Best In Show, and Best In Class. A stunning 1937 B.M.W. 328 took home the top honor with a Best In Show designation, while a Targa variant of a 1967 Porsche 911S easily rolled away with the title of Best In Class. Surrounded by the beauty and grandeur of the Manhattan skyline Brookfield Place proved to be an ideal setting for the inaugural event. Framed by the sun's reflection off the waters of New York Harbor each car appeared to have its very own private spotlight, enhancing their pristine paint-jobs, and polish. Owners of limited edition cars are members of an exclusive group of aficionados. These individuals recognize, and appreciate the intrinsic value of their fine automobiles. Now, thanks to Brookfield Place, they have the proper setting to display their automotive works of art.
We'll further explore the mind-blowing details behind these rare vehicles in an accompanying article, available exclusively on SophisticatedKat.com
